RegDossier (regdossier.eu) is an independent publication providing informational content and free interactive tools about EU regulatory compliance. It is operated by a private individual based in Ljubljana, Slovenia, reachable at info@regdossier.eu. By accessing this website, using our tools or subscribing to our email, you agree to these terms.
2. Informational Purpose Only
All content on this website and in the RegDossier email, including articles, analyses, deadline and enforcement trackers, compliance overviews and interactive tools such as checkers, calculators and assessments, is provided for general informational purposes only.
This content does not constitute legal advice, professional compliance consulting, binding interpretation of EU regulations, or a guarantee of regulatory compliance. Nothing here determines whether a regulation applies to you. Results produced by our interactive tools are estimates based on published regulatory texts and publicly available cost benchmarks, and depend entirely on the answers you select.
EU regulations are subject to member state transposition and interpretation, ongoing amendments and updates, sector-specific variations, and individual circumstance considerations. Always consult qualified legal and compliance professionals before making business decisions based on information from this website, our tools or our email.
3. How Content Is Produced
Content published on this website and in the RegDossier email is researched and written using artificial intelligence, working from primary regulatory sources, and is published without review by a lawyer, a qualified compliance professional or a human editor. No editorial responsibility within the meaning of Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 is claimed for it.
Each claim links to the source it derives from. Treat every statement as a pointer to the underlying provision rather than a verified statement of law, and where our content and the official published text differ, the official text governs. Our method, and its limits, are set out at regdossier.eu/how-we-work.
4. Accuracy and Timeliness
Our register of national competent authorities is an index rather than a legal source. It identifies the authority and the page on which that authority publishes its own deadlines and obligations, and it does not state deadlines, designation dates or penalty amounts. Read those from the linked authority page before acting on them.
We make reasonable efforts to keep content accurate and current. EU regulations change frequently, member state implementations vary, and our content may not capture every nuance or edge case. Every page carries a publication or last updated date. We are not liable for decisions made on the basis of outdated, incomplete or incorrect information, and we ask you to verify anything material against the linked source before acting on it. Errors reported to info@regdossier.eu are corrected and the correction is dated on the page.
5. Email
By subscribing, you consent to receiving emails at the frequency described, currently once a month, sent only when something in our trackers has changed. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email. After unsubscribing, your email address is deleted within 30 days as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. The Provider Directory
The provider directory is an editorial list of firms that offer services related to the regulations we cover. Listing is free. No firm pays to be included, and no firm pays to remain included.
Inclusion is not endorsement. A listing means only that the firm exists, appears to work in that area, and had a working page describing that service on the date recorded in the entry. It is not a recommendation, a certification, a quality assessment or a vetting of any kind. We do not verify a firm’s qualifications, insurance, references, staffing or results, and nothing in the directory should be read as suggesting we have. Choosing a provider, and the due diligence that goes with it, is yours.
Paid placement is labelled. Where a listing is promoted, sponsored or otherwise paid for, it carries a visible label on the listing itself and its position is explained on the page. Paid placement affects position and visibility only. It never affects whether a firm is included, and it never removes or demotes an unpaid listing.
Corrections and removal. A listed firm may ask us to correct its entry or remove it entirely, at any time, by writing to info@regdossier.eu. We act on removal requests without asking for a reason. We may also remove an entry ourselves, for example when a firm’s site no longer works, when it no longer offers the service, or when it has ceased trading.
Firm names and logos. Company names, trade marks and logos shown in the directory belong to the firms concerned and are used to identify them. Their presence does not imply any relationship between that firm and RegDossier.
Contact through the directory. Any enquiry you send to a listed firm through this website is between you and that firm. We are not a party to it, take no commission on any engagement that follows unless the page says otherwise, and are not liable for the firm’s conduct, work or fees.
7. Intellectual Property and Open Data
Two different rules apply on this website, and it matters which one you are looking at.
Datasets published as open data, currently the deadline tracker and the enforcement tracker together with their CSV and JSON exports, are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0). You may copy, redistribute, adapt and use them commercially, including in client alerts, presentations, member briefings and your own products, provided you credit RegDossier, link to the source page and indicate whether you made changes. Bulk download of these files is expressly permitted. Each dataset page carries the licence notice and the attribution string to copy.
Everything else, meaning articles, the design, layout, code and compilation of this website, and the selection and arrangement of material on it, is owned by the operator of RegDossier or used under licence. You may read it for your professional purposes, share links to it, and print or save issues of our email for internal use. You may not republish it in full without permission, or use it to provide a competing publication. Automated access for search engine and AI assistant indexing is permitted to the extent set out in our robots.txt file. Bulk extraction of non-licensed content for any other purpose is not permitted.
Third-party regulatory texts quoted or linked remain the property of their respective publishers.
8. Interactive Tools and Usage Statistics
Our interactive tools run in your browser and do not store the information you enter in any form that can identify you. When you complete a tool, we record only the answer options selected and the regulation assessed, with no IP address, no identifiers and no free-text input. Aggregated, anonymous usage statistics from our tools may be used in RegDossier publications.
9. Embedding Our Tools
Where we agree in writing that an organisation may embed a RegDossier tool on its own website, that agreement sets the terms. Embedding without a written agreement is not permitted, because the tool carries regulatory figures we maintain and we need to know where a correction has to reach. Enquiries: info@regdossier.eu.
10. Sponsorships, Advertising and Affiliate Links
RegDossier may include paid sponsorships, advertisements, or links to third-party products and services. Sponsored content is clearly marked. Some links on this website are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you purchase a product or service through them, at no additional cost to you. Commercial relationships do not determine which regulations we cover or what our content says about them.
The directory rules in section 6 govern paid placement there. This section covers sponsorship and affiliate arrangements elsewhere on the site.
Inclusion of a sponsor or affiliate partner does not constitute endorsement. Any interaction with third-party products or services is solely between you and that third party. We are not liable for third-party products, services, or content.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website and all content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website, our tools or our email. This does not affect your statutory rights under applicable EU or national law.
12. User Conduct
You agree not to provide false information, attempt to circumvent security measures, use the website for unlawful purposes, overload the website with automated requests, or interfere with other users’ access. Downloading our published CSV and JSON files is not a breach of this clause.
13. Third-Party Links
Our website and email contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of external websites.
14. Modifications
We may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via a notice on the website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. A change to these terms does not revoke the CC BY 4.0 licence already granted on datasets published under it.
15. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Slovenia. Disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts in Ljubljana, Slovenia, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection provisions in your country of residence.
